Crosley, a Caribbean doctor, connects quantum physics with vodou practice rather than, like Capra, Eastern mysticism. Vodou, the religion of Haiti, with its complex combination of indigenous and African spirituality, is gaining greater prominence today in the U.S. as it comes out from under the primitivist cloak Hollywood had cast upon it. It is, in fact, a complex religion whose worldview is quite compatible with the new physics.
