Odd Nerdrum

I love Odd Nerdrum's paintings and not just because his name has three of my favorite words in it...Odd, Nerd, Drum

Odd Nerdrum was born in Sweden in 1944. He studied at The Art Academy in Oslo, Norway and later studied with the conceptual artist Joseph Beuys in Düsseldorf, Germany. Nerdrum developed a style of painting that is unique by any standard.
